All the rants and raves I can think of?
Published on November 8, 2009 By mickeko In WindowBlinds

Every now and then someone complains about being charged for skins. It just bugs me alot, so here's something for you to consider:

You buy a car, do you expect to get a new custom paintjob for that car for free?

You buy a house, do you expect to get free wallpapers, furniture and gardening?

You buy Microsoft Office, do you expect to get all your documents typed up for you for free?

You buy Windows 7, do you expect to get all software for it for free?

You buy a stereo, do you expect to get all the music for free?

No, you don't. You KNOW people like to get paid for the work they do.

Now ask yourself: Why do you expect ALL skins to be free?

It's just the internet mentality Mick...... people always expect things on the internet to be free. It's slowly been changing over the years, but there will always be some who still think like that.

Let's offer these funny people to go to any Internet Shop and get something for free... They will be sent to hell in a moment! So I'm sure - this is not a mentality. This is a low level of culture (or its total absence).

They must understand that a Free Cheese may be only in a Mousetrap... The other things may cost some money. And Master Skins - especially!

Entitled-Generation.

Also see - Government entitlement programs, Pelosi, Obama, Liberal, Socialism, Acorn

Same thing, someone else is paying for something that some are getting for nothing.

What I wrote was supposed to bring a smile and get people away from contention, v.

I remember back in the '90's so much really was free on the net.

Thats cool doc... doesn't really change the fact.. same thing, different day. It's all a culture of entitlement imo.

Applies equally to both imo.

There is one sure way of getting things for free, get youself thrown into prison, a little extreme but what the heck.

Yeah, sure... as long as you don't mind receiving lessons in "experimental physics" from your cell mates.

Things aren't free in prison.  It's just a different economy, with different rulers and different forms of currency.  Nobody comes out unscarred either.  It's much easier to pay for stuff or go without than to enter that economy.

It cost me $40.00 to be able to write this! Not counting the cost of my pc!
