All the rants and raves I can think of?

Ask me anything, I answer all questions (*).

You may get a stupid answer, an incorrect answer, or maybe even the RIGHT answer... Who knows...

Any answer given that is true and correct (as far as I know or in my opinion where applicable) will be marked with a  .

(*) - Exceptions: Personal questions or any other questions I don't feel like answering may not be answered. Being polite might help in these cases...

If x and y are two integers such that 1540x + 763y = 7, what can be all possible mumerical values for x and y ?

on Apr 13, 2009

The knot, yes. The rope, no.

Oh well!  Now if you were to play the musical piece backwards during an Indian rope trick, would the rope instead burrow into the ground?

Ah, another case of getting someone else to answer those difficult homework questions?

I've previously said I'm not a calculator. That fact has not changed. Buy matlab or something.

If you construct the trick in a way that the music is relevant to the direction of the rope, it's quite possible that you could use it to find oil.

Or just end up in the sewers.

Yup grandpa can you solve this. Suppose your grandkid asks you to teach it to him. Won't you teach him.

I've previously said I'm not a calculator.

Its not a mere calculation.. it has some logic behind this... so I thought it had qualified to be asked here..

Logic? Who mentioned logic?

Looks at someone looking somewhat like this:

Do bananas peel better from the top or the bottom?

You are shopping with a 4 year old, he asks for a certain box of cereal, you say no, how long before you are in the car and on the way home?

I like to peel them from the top, that's all that counts.

Depends if the kid opens his mouth, or remembers what happened the last time he asked.  I'm old school........screw Dr. Spock.

Not really.

You are shopping with a 4 year old, he asks for a certain box of cereal, you say no, how long before you are in the car and on the way home?

There's no answer to that. People are different.

If this is the "Ask Mickecko" thread, why do others feel the need to answer questions intended for you?

Perhaps they believe I need some assistance handling the workload, or I'm just full of crap and they want to add their few cents... I don't really mind, I answer the questions, no matter if they've been answered before. I see things different anyway.

Why do you keep using my icon?

Not logical...

Given how many questions you actually answer, would be more appropriate...

I can't use a symbol that makes logical sense, obviously.

BTW,

Is it 'The Ask Mickeko Thread!' or 'Ask! Mickeko, Ask!' thread?

BTW,

Is it 'The Ask Mickeko Thread!' or 'Ask! Mickeko, Ask!' thread?

It has its own life. It's a thread that simply is. While it may be the ask mickeko thread, it could also be a bunch of monkeys writing the complete works of Shakespeare.
