All the rants and raves I can think of?

I don't know if this has been requested before, but I was sitting here clicking away and realised something quite silly... When clicking on a post in "My Replies", why does it take me to the first post in the thread? If I'm trying to follow a thread, I'd obviously want to read all the new posts, not the full thread.

So, my request is actually two things:

1) Clicking on a thread in "My Replies" should take me to the first unread post in the thread. If I want to read the first page, I can just click the "1" link below the thread title.

2) The button that currently sends me off to the latest new reply should point to the first reply after my most recent post in the thread. It would be good if I marked all posts as read, and want to check new posts in a thread later.

Does it make any sense to you?

Would be nice to have this back again, the whole forum worked this way in the past, all threads even if you had only read it and not replied.

I join these members by absolutely agreeing with them. This was a great feature and I hope it can be restored to us.

Yeah, here here!  Ditto ditto. I agree wholeheartedly.

It mightn't help in the prevention of necro-thread ressurection (forgetfulness/not seeing the OP original date) but some of the more entertaining threads (Troll Thumping Day, pirate threads) deserve to be revived once in a while... right!
